05/25/20 Caught in the Rain
During these months of dealing with the coronavirus, we have been going on weekend hikes in Tower park. Today for a challenge we decided to hike up the rocky creek bed. It had been raining off and on all week so there was a fair amount of water flowing through. Anabel and the dogs had a blast. Just as we returned to the trail and started hiking back to the car, the weather quickly changed and started pouring rain. We got completely soaked, which was fine as it only added to the adventure.

05/14/20
A little bike riding practice with Anabel in the park. Then a walk to the ice cream shop to get Anabel an ice cream. She had to eat it as we walked back because there were no tables or chairs in the shop due to cornonavirus restrictions.
The night ended sadly. Jennifer came into my room very upset believing she may of had a miscarriage. We cried and held each other for a bit before going to bed. She will call the doctors tomorrow. All we could do was hope for the best.

Bike Riding
05/13/20
Helped Anabel practice riding her bike (with training wheels) on the sidewalk. We then decided it would be better on a flatter surface so we rode down to the library's parking lot. My backs a bit sore from hunching over holding the back of her seat but she is starting to get the hang of it and more importantly, had a lot of fun.
